Below are the summer events our pack is hosting. If your Scout attends three events this summer, they will earn the Summer Activity Adventure!

Event: Pack Hike

• Location: Otter Falls in Seven Devils (https://www.sevendevilsnc.gov/parks-and-recreation/page/otter-falls,https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/north-carolina/otter-falls-trail)
• What to bring: Sturdy shoes that can get wet; clothes that can get wet; towel; water and snacks; sun protection.

• Other information: The hike starts with a descent down to a waterfall, splash area, and lots of rocks and water pools to explore. The return trip is under a mile but a little steep at times, but there are ample benches and stopping points. Parts of the trail are closed due to Helene.

Event: District Shooting Sports Day

Event: Pack 100 Year Kick-off Picnic
• Date and time: Sunday, August 30, 2pm
• Location: Valle Crucis Park
• What to bring: Sun protection, water bottle, food to share

• Other information: For our 3rd Annual Kick-off Picnic, we'll be at the Herrick Pavilion at Valle Crucis Park. We'll have a raingutter regatta, share a potluck picnic, and get ready for the Scout year to begin!
